This gallery includes photos of about 75 different nudibranchs and sea slugs that I saw on my recent scuba trip to Lembeh, Indonesia.
Nudibranchs are some of my favorite underwater critters; I love searching for the (typically) elusive critters, and I love the incredible variety of colors, patterns, and shapes that they come in. I was amazed at the abundance and diversity of the nudis I saw in Lembeh, so I photographed as many as I could. I haven’t edited the photos in this gallery; there were just too many for me to get to. I have, however edited a subset of all of my Lembeh photos (not just nudis), and you can check out all of those photos here.
In Lembeh, I dove with NAD Lembeh. I got some instruction on macro underwater photography from their resort manager, Sonja, about halfway through my visits and I think the results are clear – it’s pretty easy to tell which photos I took after the tutelage!
I like this group of photos because it shows so many different and interesting nudis. They aren’t in any particular order.
Hope you enjoy them!
